BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF GUELPH REACHES BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE GOAL OF $77,000
GUELPH, March 29, 2007 – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph proudly announces the 32nd annual Bowl For Kids Sake has met the campaign goal of $77,000. This year’s goal was to raise $77,000, an ambitious increase of $7,000 from last years campaign net profit of $70,000, to support over 400 children in the community who are involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph mentoring programs.
“Such successful results are only achieved through the generous support of corporations and the over 500 individuals that participated in this year’s campaign” announced Michael Fox, President of the agency’s Board of Directors. “The entire agency extends our thanks and appreciation to the community. Your contributions will go towards decreasing our waiting list of approximately 100 children who have not yet been matched with an adult mentor”, said Fox.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph would like to thank Presenting Partner, The Investors Group, Platinum Partners, Hoyes, Michalos, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, RBC Financial Group, Meridian Credit Union, Compusense, and Media Partners Guelph Mercury, Magic 106.1 and 1460 CJOY for their commitment to helping Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph serve children in the Guelph community.
