BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF GUELPH ANNOUNCES
GOLF FORE KIDS SAKE RESULTS
GUELPH, June 17, 2010- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph is proud to announce Golf Fore Kids Sake raised over $35,000 to support mentoring programs in the Guelph community. This year’s tournament took place at Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club on June 15 where 135 participants enjoyed 18 holes of golf, lunch, steak dinner, games, prizes and live/silent auctions
Rory Pike, Vice-President, Board of Directors and Chair of the Golf Committee commented “We have built a solid following for our event – witnessed by our first sell-out. The positive feedback being received on the event is just wonderful. More importantly though is that our sponsors, golfers and volunteers have helped us raise $35,000 in much needed revenue for our agency. This is a terrific result and we are very appreciative.”

All proceeds will go to fund programs and services that assist over 680 children and youth in the Guelph area in need of friendships and positive mentoring.
